Going back to an old version of firefox, can I transfer my settings, bookmarks and addons as well.???
I had version17 update installed over version 14 without my permission as I have set my preferences & setting's......how can this happen?? anyway I am now trying to correct this because I do not want my TABS on top, I really hate Tabs on top I have win7 & IE9 elsewhere & they dont impress me much.....so is their a SHORT FIX to either have, the choice of selection on my MENU-VIEW-BOOKMARKS- above Customize or just set to bottom position permanently without any choice......thanking you, yours sincerely liamo777

Current Firefox versions only show the "Tabs on Top" menu entry in the "View > Toolbars" and "Firefox > Options" menu and in toolbar context menus if the tabs aren't in the default position on top.
If the tabs are on top and the menu entry isn't available and you want to move the tabs below the navigation toolbar then you need to flip the browser.tabs.onTop pref to false on the about:config page.
