I've installed the MapQuest toolbar. How do I make it invisible by default when I start up Firefox?

I've looked at tools/options/manage add-ons but I can't see a way of changing the default screen.

You can either make it visible or not, there isn't an automatic way to make it hide. But I'm not 100% sure what you are asking for either.
