The tabbed browsing has moved to the top of the browser (previous location was under the url field)... how can I put them back into their original location? I really don't think there needs to be any more details about this.

Right click empty space on the tab bar (or other toolbar) and untick "Tabs on Top" (Firefox > Options > [] Tabs on Top)

Thank you cor-el... It's funny how one little feature change can upset or confuse the repetitive routine.
Yes, it never ceases to amaze how software developers seldom put themselves in the shoes of the end user. I have to wonder why moving the browsing tabs to a position above the Bookmarks Toolbar seemed like a good idea in the first place. At least there's a way to undo it. Mozilla should leave questionable "enhancements" of that ilk to the king of pseudo-innovation - Microsoft!
