Many , Many problems with firefox 4. Needed an earlier version to get going again. FF 4 needs to go back to the drawing board or trash heep!
This is the absolutely worst version ever! I have never experienced so many issues-from not responding, involuntary shut downs, going forward/back, trouble with certain websites (photobucket & deviantart specifically), Bing "new tab" just popping up, blocking of allowed sites, would not save tabs upon exit and so on and so on....need I continue? I hope you keep FF 3.6 up to date a while longer-cause I am going back on this one.

First, make a backup of your computer for safekeeping. To back up Firefox, see Backing up your information.
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
Close Firefox 4, and uninstall it. Do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Then finally you can reinstall Firefox 3.6. Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, it should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.
Note: I haven't actually tried this myself!
Thank you for the assistance jscher2000! I am now back to 3.6 and happy as a clam! Now if the other sites I use frequently would just give up trying to get me to upgrade to 4.0. -sorry guys, been there, done that, not doing again for a long long time- ;p
How can i find 3.6? I had to uninstall 4 cuz google autofill doesn't work in 4 and now i can't find 3.6 to reinstall. Please advise
