How can the Location bar autocomplete only match the "tag name"?
for example,I added "http://www.cnet.com" to bookmark tagged with "it". how can I let the Location bar autocomplete only math tag name not including url or title match?
I want the result is that ,http://www.cnet.com and other bookmarks tagged with "it" are listed top.I know I can type other special characters(ie.^,*,+,@,#) to restrict the search,but I don't find special character to match only tag name. （I know I can open the library windows and click tag named with "it",but that's not efficient）
I think the function is very helpful becaus I always add bookmarks tagged a keyword in order to index later or long fucture,why firefox doesn't design it?or I just don't know?

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

The article shows match filters (3:Title, 4:URL),and restrict filters (0:History, 1:Bookmarks, 2:Tags, 5:Typed) ,but it can't do what I want no matter how compose the default filte.I want search only tag name,not including url and site's title.
Hi, the question is: Is it possible to search _only_ in the _tag_ attribute? Similar (and not the same): Library > tags_list > click a tag => only those are shown which are tagged with the selected tag. If you write "ind" to the local bar plus the tag operator then the list shall contain the pages from history and bookmarks which are tagged "India", "indie", "independent" etc. and only those. The "+" operator in the local bar searches in every attribute but shows only those lines which _are tagged_, i.e. they have any tag - this is different then the above. Have a nice day! p.s. I am interested how FF solved the 'tagging' in the database; not the code, just at abstract DB level (e.g. tables, fields, keys, joins).

query (from the wiki - without the "s): "place:queryType=0&sort=8&maxResults=10" result: File not found Firefox can't find the file at jar:file:///C:/Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/omni.ja!/chrome/browser/content/browser/places/content-ui/controller.xhtml.
I created a new bookmark and wrote it to the location bar (address bar), too, with the same result. What you recommended is a feature I've got know now. Unfortunately it's not a solution for the use-case: I would like to have an 'operator' (as there are "*", "+" etc.) in the location bar to be able to search only within tag_names during I'm typing the search phrase. I guess that is the same as "place:...type=6" query (Is it?). With the 'location' bar operator it's quick and flexible just as with "*" and "+". With the bookmark you save one and only one query. I assume this is a feature request, not a question. Thanks for your reply,
