Fresh install of firefox 3.6.3 (with some addons) and i have configured master password. Now I went to a specific project website i'm working on, on my localhost, the login page is https and i have added an exception certificate (i understand the risks page that appeared, ssl connection cannot be trusted) https://localhost/project_name. I login for the first time since i've installed firefox, username filled out, password filled out, i press the login button and firefox asks me to save the password, i choose save and then it asks for my master password, i fill that out as well, i'm logged in... i close firefox and open it again, go to the same address again https://localhost/project_name.... and i am not asked for master password (like i would have been... i've been a firefox user since 1.5 so i know how it should behave). If i double click on the username field i can see my old username i used previously saved. I click it and no password appears.... i then fill out the password manually ... AND THEN THE FREAKING MASTER PASSWORD pop-up appears......which is totally useless because if i fill it it goes away, if i click cancel, it still logs me in and then it appears again and every time i refresh the page (while being logged in).

Note that it actually works on other websites, just not my localhost https project and there is nothing special about the user / password text field inputs.

The form doesn't have autocomplete="off" or on for that matter, nor does the user input or password input

(Sorry for the multiple posting, i would have edited my initial question if i knew how)

Please also note that disabling ssl (and logging on a http page) doesn't work and it behaves exactly the way it did with ssl. It asked me to save the password again for the non secure page and then when i close/open firefox.... it still doesn't ask for master password nor does it fill my username / password inputs, username is saved (if you double click the username input), i click select it and password isn't filled, so i put it manually and agian the stupid master password form pops-up and its again totally useless. I've installed a greasemonkey script that is supposed to strip any autocomplete="off" from my sites and it doesnt help either.
