Do you have gmail accounts?

Is your screen blank? Or are there just folders missing from the folder pane?

If the later, as a temporary workaround use View > Folders > All Folders

If there is still a question, please post a screen shot.

Hi Wayne Thank you for responding. To answer your questions I copied and pasted with answers below. Do you have gmail accounts? Ans: Yes. Indeed they to 'some extent' are the only ones that work except most folders are missing ie. "Sent' 'Drafts' Individual client and project folders etc. Other emails have failed to show and work.

If the later, as a temporary workaround use View > Folders > All Folders Ans: I'll print this out and try.

If there is still a question, please post a screen shot.

Hi Wayne Further to my answers above I tried View all folders and nothing further turns up. Best. Chris

115.2.3 is now available at Help > About. It may not resolve your issue, but we'd appreciate your feedback.

I'm having a similar problem. Thunderbird decided it was a good idea to automatically update itself to some kind of Thunderbird 115 Supernova thing (no idea) and now when I go to my inbox, none of my most recent emails are in there. (I know this because the emails show on my phone in a different program, but when I check my emails on Thunderbird on my PC now those newest emails are not there). I really wish these companies would stop frustrating their customers and just leave things as is. They're really messing with important aspects of people's lives (that being the need to check and respond to emails).

@cliew5473

Why no answer from a responsible person ? I have managed to get some e-mails by unchecking hardware acceleration (I have no idea what that is or what it does, but another answer suggested it and doing so has produced about four e-mails out of the eighteen or more that I have viewed on my 'phone.)

Incidentally I tried to click the "helpful" button for your post and nothing happened. Take it as done, will you?

Sorry, the followups got lost in the mail folder.

There are a few possibilities. Two of them: 1. Do right+click > properties > repair on the "real" mail folder (not the unified folder) 2. If the message are missing in a Unified only folder, then

  • Install https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/unified-folders-debugging/
  • If you do not see the "Unified Folders" heading in the folder pane, then click on "..." next to "New messages", click "Folder Modes", enable an additional folder mode to force the "Unified Folders" heading to appear
  • In the folder pane next to the "Unified Folders" heading, click on ⋮ three vertical dots, do not do "Reset Unified Folders"
  • Click Debugging Info > click Copy to Clipboard and save the clipboard somewhere
  • Click Close.
  • In the Unified Folders heading click on ⋮ three vertical dots, and do "Reset Unified Folders". (DO THIS LAST)

Does that help?

Who is your mail provider for these missing folders?
