facebook container
I think I have added the facebook container extension, but I don't see an icon on my toolbar. Is it really functioning on my mac?? I have very high privacy settings with firefox.

As long as you are in regular mode and not in PB mode then the Facebook extension should work as expected, so you can delete history as you like and if necessary you can open a new private window. Currently containers are not compatible with PB mode and extensions that rely on container won't work when PB mode is enabled.

Note that containers do not work in Private Browsing mode, so if you use PB mode (Never remember history) then that might explain that you do not see its icons.
You should see the Facebook Container (fence icon) appear in the location bar when you visit a Facebook website.
Will facebook container still work if I occasionally opt to clear my history?
