Within 3 days of installing Firefox, I get the "you have been hacked we have control" My chrome/IE does not have this problem. Why?

I have performed the action some dozen times over the last year, only Firefox seems to have this problem. Here is the kicker, I like Firefox, but how can I use it when I have to deinstall so often. (Win 7, SP3, AVG virus protection, firewall, and so forth on a Frontier Router)

What's your computer system and Firefox version?

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

After the above;

Let’s do a full clean re-install;

Download Firefox For All languages And Systems {web link}

Save the file. Then Close Firefox.

Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.

Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86)
