I need to change my password which was set up by someone who has now left the company?

Hi, I've had to buy a new preschool laptop for the email chair@ncpweb.org.uk. We are a charity run preschool which is committee lead. The gentleman who set up the email has now left and I cannot remember what the password is for it.

Please would it be possible to set up a new password as this is the Chair persons laptop and the charity commission would be chasing me for our end of year accounts.

I was previously using the email and you will see emails sent to trudynorman69@aol.com as this is my private email address. I would set up a new account but I would loose all the saved emails which are important and need to be kept including this years accounts from Diverso accountants.

Your domain, ncpweb.org.uk, is hosted by www.1and1.co.uk. Tell them about your problem. They may be able to help. I am hoping for you that your chair's email store, at least, will still be available to you and it is not all locked away in another person's computer.

I would advise you not to display email addresses in places such as this forum. You do need one public address for people to reach your organisation, but other addresses such as the chair or your own personal address should be shared on a "need to know" basis - and no-one reading this forum needs to know either of the addresses you have mentioned.
