Firefox Search feature doesn't give replies

Hi Using FF50.1 android x86 (my phone is a Razr i), when I use the FirefoxSearch feature (sliding up the Home button of the phone as well as using the widget) I get no replies. In the main FF app, I choosed to add Qwant-lite as default search engine. I also tried with standard Qwant.com, with same issue. When selecting DuckDuckGo as default search engine in the main app, then both the FirefoxSearch feature and widget work OK. Work too with wikipedia.

I do not have a googre account.
