Complete Reset need file name to restore toolbar cusomization
Hey, thanks for reading.
Question, I performed a complete "refresh". Things seem good.
However, I had my tool(bars-2 of them)"finally" Very Customized to my liking.
Can someone please advise
1st--Which file holds those settings. (just browsing prefs.js does not appear to be there).
2nd-It is o.k. to simply rename the existing file (per #1) and place the old file in the restored profile, right?
FYI--I know "why"(90% reason) my problems were occurring. I highly customized the "about:config" prefs.js and went overboard. won't happen again ;-)
Thanks for the help!!!

The toolbar customization is stored as a pref with the name browser.uiCustomization.state in JSON fomtat in the prefs.js file. So you would have to check the prefs.js file in the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop and copy this line to the prefs.js file in the current Firefox profile folder to replace the current entry of this pref.
