Why am I getting an Access Denied message on my personal computer on a website (foxnews.com) I've been reading for years?
While reading foxnews.com today, I was getting Access Denied messages when I clicked on articles I wanted to read. I have been reading this site for years and this has never occurred before. I closed the browser window and opened another. It wouldn't even let me open fox news but it allows me to open CNN. I am using my personal MacBook Pro at home. No network. What's up with this?

Perhaps it's a temporary server problem?
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Clear Firefox's Cache

If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
- right-click/Ctrl+click a blank area of the page and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
- (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
- click the padlock or globe icon in the address bar > More Information > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually. If you can't get on the site with the problem, you can edit the domain listed at the top to what you need.
Then try reloading the non-working page. Does that help?
Some sites do not work correctly with certain information blocked, such as cookies, third party cookies, browser identity, or the address of the referring site. If you have adjusted any of those settings, you might try undoing your change to see whether that helps.
