AUTH701 service is not available.
this error message is constantly coming up - doesn't happen on my tablet or phone - only on main computer where Thunderbird email client is installed. Bt says this is a problem which occurs frequently with Thunderbird.

How good of BT. And what is the problem that causes it did they say?
My Google Fu tells me it is a problem entirely related to Yahoo mail. But BT supposedly dropped yahoo as a mail provider in 2013.
I saw one post suggesting it had something to do with exceeding daily limits for sending, or hourly limit. but it was only a guess.
There is a Firefox OS bug from last year. But no one other than Yahoo spears to know the cause and they are not talking.
