I have home plugs so I can use my laptop away from my router. I thought that was the reason the laptop suddenly had a hissy fit & stopped printing. Now I can't print from my desktop either. Firefox keeps sending me apologetic messages saying it's embarrassed it's not working, but doesn't seem to do anything about it. I've checked the setup & it all seems fine. A clue might be that I keep getting something about XPS documents whatever they are?

Yes that's right - turn off for at least a minute then turn on again. I get a very similar problem with mine occasionally, and rebooting the router always does the trick, so hope it works for you.

Hi, XPS is a sort of virtual printer that comes with Windows. Make sure to select your printer and not XPS.

If that doesn't work, try rebooting your Home Plugs and router.

Hope that is of some help.

Thank you for taking the trouble to reply. When I go into Control Panel my printer is selected. When you say rebooting do you mean turn off the home plugs & the router then switch on again?
