I was going to join Firefox Affiliates but baulked at allowing Persona & google to "examin" my email address. Persona ok, google? What do they examin/why?
As a result of my actions herein - I have now determined what "Persona" is & am happy to allow that but want to know what & why google need to examin my email address. is this limited to my profile data only (which they are already aware of as I was registering via my gmail address) or do they drill down into contacts and other private data?? I will also research & impliment the merits of persona but desire this answer to my question before I proceed. many thanks! Mozilla Rocks! ta Damian

I'm not sure what you mean by Google examining your email address... Please elaborate to better assist you.
