I went on my computer today and it worked fine, but then I went away for a bit and firefox updated. Now with the new version it does this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojOE6kB9iCc

I reset my settings, I installed an older version (that video was older version) but then I ran firefox in safe mode and it boots instantly into firefox with no white screen and no menu bar issue like I have when it is not ran in safe mode. Now I looked in my addons and it says I have none installed. Do i have to delete my personal settings and loose all ym passwords or is their a way I can back everything up (i backed up bookmarks) but I want to delete everything from firefox on my computer and start fresh and I want a backup incase it goes wrong.

Can someone tell me how do i backup my personal settings like saved passwords and cookies?

Somehow i fixed it by reseting firefox which gives me a backup folder on my desktop. I completly uninstall firefox and remove settings, then install the latest version, and I replace my old profile and go into the .ini file and edit the new path.
