I recently purchased a new Mac Book Pro. After migrating my data from my old one I noticed that when using Firefox my Facebook account was not working properly. I no longer could access my own page or the pages of friends. However, I could access some group accounts I'm associated with. On Safari, everything works fine. I suspect something must have been compromised during the data migration.

I deleted the Firefox app from my new computer and then reinstalled it but to no avail. When I'm in Facebook and try to access my page I get an error message. My OS system to up to date and apparently my Firefox is up to date as well. Any suggestions? Thanks

There is a forum where poster tried to embed YouTube video, but YouTube refused to deliver the data. All browsers display there instead their customized messages about website error. So does Firefox for Android 113.2.0, but in this message it refers to itself as Nightly. Seems like developers forgot to tweak some settings in project.

About 90% of the time, when I try to go to powerball.com on my android (12), it displays a message that "The request is blocked".

I don't know what the issue is but it's incredibly frustrating when I'm trying to check my numbers and I can't access this site.

What can I do to fix this?

Hello, I believe that my Firefox android browser updated to version 113 on May 19, 2023. Up until that point, I had no issues with getting notifications sent to my device from the web version of YouTube accessed through Firefox. I could refresh the page and leave the Firefox app and still receive notifications. Ever since the update, every time the YouTube page is reloaded (which also happens when you leave the app) the Desktop Notifications toggle in the YouTube desktop mode settings switches to off. I can switch this toggle back on, the page is refreshed, and this toggle (and only this toggle) automatically switches to off. This happens every time and I am no longer receiving notificationsto my device. The YouTube app for Android is not involved in this, as I use Firefox to access the web version YouTube as an alternative. Please provide information that can help resolve this issue and/or please make a note of this issue so it can be resolved in the future. Thank you so much.

Firefox on Android won't display pop-ups. I've checked privacy setting but there's no checkbox for a popup blocker. Also tried about:config but didn't find any setting to change. Any ideas on how to be sure Firefox is comfigured to allow popups? I participate on a Zoom webinar and can't start Zoom through Firefox so have to use Chrome.

I just got a new phone (Pixel 7a) and embedded videos have closed captions enabled by default in Firefox. Even if I turn them off while watching one video, they'll be back on the next video. I want them to just be off by default. It's not an Android setting as far as I can tell - I have all live captioning turned off and the video player isn't showing captions when I use Chrome to watch the same videos. Here's a link to a video that has captions on by default when I view it in FF for Android. I've also included a screenshot of the CC controls.

instagram.com not asking for notification permission, so I'm not able to receive notifications from this site.

Someone else experiencing this? Is there something that I and/or Firefox and/or Instagram can do to fix this?

CONFIGS

• Settings> Sites Permission> Notifications is set to Ask to allow
• there's no record of instagram.com on Settings> Sites Permission> Exceptions
• Tested also with addons disabled
• Firefox version: 117.1.0 (Build #2015973691), from Google Play Store
• Oneplus 11

Ps: Tested on Google Chrome and the site asks for this permission

Since version 115 I am having problem with some of our gmail accounts. It is stuck on loading more emails with the loading circle. Reverted to version 114 and no problem.

Hello. I have the most recent update for Android Firefox. Suddenly I can not watch videos because it says my JavaScript is off. I have not done anything to change any settings. And I am unable to get into "About:Config" to change anything. The version of Android Firefox is 117.0. I would appreciate a response as soon as possible. Thank you so much. I have a Samsung S22 Ultra on android 13 and the version of Firefox app is 107.2.0

All adult content is blocked whilst in a normal browser, however, in a private browser it's fine.

Trying to login to lovehoney.co.uk and annsummrs.com with no joy.

I am the bill payer and have no issues in Chrome.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what the issue is?

in this case, when I try to open ao3 from gmail links, the website just gets stuck loading (the lock symbol also has a slash across it). i try to open link in Firefox but same problem. (im on mobile btw)

i can access the same webpage just fine if i find it by searching manually in Firefox though

other website links work fine, and this problem only started maybe a few days ago

In Samsung Galaxy M23 5G smartphone (SM-M236B/DS) with Android 14 and Firefox 123.1.0 when I go to https://translate.google.com and insert a phrase, for example "I want a table" (you can try any words you want, single word or phrase) I hear the words distorted. This is happening after about 3 or 4 times or more tries when I hit the little speaker icon and waiting to finish the vocal pronunciation each time. I can't remember if this happened in earlier versions of Firefox for Android. I installed most of known browsers for Android (Opera, Edge, Vivaldi, Brave) and none has this problem, even the Samsung browser. I installed other versions of Firefox for Android (Focus, Beta for testers, Nightly for Developers) and all of them have the same problem. Also, I uninstalled and installed the original Firefox and I did restart of smartphone and also I connected bluetooth headphones but same problem. Maybe you will not hear the distortion in that smartphone above and android 14 combination with the first try but you will hear it in next tries. I don't know if this is happening in other Samsung SMARTPHONES. The problem is I'm getting the "Unexpected response from server" message when trying to open any web page. Could you try to solve this without me updating the android version? My phone is not new and quick in the terms of performance so I do not update the OC. Please find the error examples, broeser version and my phone's system info attached in a form of screenshots.

When i tap on any link it asks to open in other apps and when i accept it open in "virustotal". This broblem only happens in firefox, the other browsers worked fine, and i haven't set virustotal app to open any links by default. I don't want to reject all "open in other apps" requests as it may be usefull like playstore links or youtube etc..

When I am trying to access my website https://specialplasticparts.com on Firefox for Android, I get the following error message:

"cannot complete request additional information"

This does not happen on Chrome or Edge for Android. It does not happen on Firefox PC version.

Also, it does not happen every time on Firefox for Android, but quite often.

Does anyone know what is causing this?
