Hi,

I configured my account using the server's IMAP service. Every time I open Thunderbird, it asks me for the password of the calendar service of that IMAP service. But it doesn't have a calendar service. Even if it has, I don't want to use it.

I looked everywhere in the settings page, but could not find a way to disable it.

Why the app keeps asking me for the calendar service's password and how to disable it?

I just updated from TB 142.0 to 148.0.1. After the update, my Yahoo and AOL accounts display a login window and prompted to re-enter the login credentials. After I enter the email address and click 'Next' an error is displayed:

Edge: Too Many Requests

This appears to be a browser error. What is needed to fix this? I am unable to re-enable my email addresses.

When I tried to copy the link to a 'real' browser window I was able to get the verification code from the sites, but then got the error Can't reach this page at 127.0.0.1, connection refused which, of course, is the loopback address.

Recently a "gear" icon has appeared on the bottom left of my screen while using Mozilla. It relates to moving the tabs. I don't want to do anything with my tabs. How can I get rid of the icon? The icon reduces the horizontal screen space available. I have a small laptop so this small amount of space is important.

I read the existing articles and followed them, starting with "manage bookmarks". When I click on restore, there is a list of the last 15 backups by date. EVERY one of them results in an error message "unable to process the file".

Manually searching for bookmarks.html or json, resulted in nothing found at first. Then I discovered the path to the bookmarks folder were all hidden folders (after the 'user' folder). I got them to display in file explorer ('show hidden files' selected) and tried to manually select the JSON files that way, to restore bookmarks. That also did not work, resulting in the same message depicted below.

Why has Video Download Helper v9 by Michel Guteriezze been replaced by Video Download Helper by vdh? The original versions were perfect. The VDH version 10 vdh is straight junk!

I was locked out from yahoo completely but managed to reconnect with their web client today but Thunderbird still doesn't work. my connection is POP with my ports set as: inbound.att.net 995 outbound.att.net 465 when I test the connection under settings in Thunderbird reports: Successfully established a secure connection to inbound.att.net:995. Successfully established a secure connection to outbound.att.net:465. I was at Version 146.0.1 so I upgraded to 148 with no difference

I get many emails as a member of a group, and often want to reply to the sender and CC the other recipients. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem possible to CC all, delete my email address from the list, and add the sender’s email in the Reply box. What is the best way to achieve the addressing I want.

I cannot send from an Office365 account but can get mail - it simply says 'sending' but nothing happens.

I am using Owl (paid subscription) for my Office365 account.

I also have another email that is a simple IMAP account and that works beautifully!

I have a few folders I need deleting.

They do not appear in my webmail (mailserver) but do in Thunderbird - I have tried so many methods on your forums, but nothing is working - can you help?

Prior to TB 148, OAUTH worked for POP3 access to: Gmail, MS Outlook, and Yahoo.

After TB 148 upgrade: OAUTH to Yahoo fails, subsequent log-in page also fails. Both OAUTH to Gmail and OAUTH to MS Outlook still work fine.

Rolled-back/Reverted to TB 147.0.2 -- OAUTH to all works fine, as it did previously.

Note: YahooMail seems to have other problems. But I was able to confirm successful OAUTH and POP3 to YahooMail after reversion to 147.0.2.

Verwalte über Thunderbird mehrere Mailadressen, jedoch läßt sich keine dieser Mailadressen öffnen. Es kommt ständig die Mitteilunbg , 'Keine Nachricht gefunden' . Bei Neustart kommt die Mitteilung Thunderbird wird bereits ausgeführt, und dann erneute 'Keine Nachricht gefunden ' ... !???

hi. how can i copy or cut the URL from the address bar?? There is no pop-up, drop down ? All other browsers can do this.

and also the whole text in the bar seems not to be selected.

Thunderbird was running on a laptop that has become suspect. Copied the files to a desktop machine. Tried to access these file from the app on the laptop. Only new message are available. All old inbox, sent, other folders, trash, etc. are missing. Tried to go back to the laptop files, but the results are the same.

Running Windows 11 on both machines.

Is there any way to get my data back?
