I am trying to add custom search engines to Firefox. I have tried the steps given in the forum thread https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1212596.

However when I try to go and add the search engine as per the article given above I do not get the option. Please see the attached screen shot for more details. I do not want to add an extension or a plugin, but just manually have the option of adding search engines.

Hey guys apparently I have opened a web site that instantly installed adware on my Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra 5G phone. I have installed AVG virus protection. I also have installed adblock app, and a Malware block app. Nothing works. I've tried the web fixes for Chrome. And Samsung Internet. Still nothing works. Anyone know how to fix this without resetting the phone back to factory.

I have three different computers that I can use Thunderbird to access my hotmail account. All three computers can have the exact same server settings. One computer refuses to send emails unless I cancel the send and immediately resend.. Thunderbird ver 115.10.1 (64-bit) Windows 10 Home Ver 22H2 IMAP Mail Server outlook.office365.com Port 993 Connection Security SSL/TLS Authentication 0Auth2 Outgoing SMTP Server smtp.office365.com Port 587 Connection Security STARTTLS 0Auth2 Take Note All three machines can have identical settings listed above or various changes like Normal Password instead of 0Auth2 and/or an Outgoing server can be smtp-mail.outlook.com with normal password or 0Auth2... One computer must be cancelled will sending and when resent, it goes... no problem...immediately. If I don't cancel and wait, for it to send on the 1st attempt, it will eventually timeout on the outgoing server. Then I might have to reenter a password. Very annoying. I have been doing this for years. It is my workaround....

Recently firefox stopped filling in my credit card information. 1. On a website asking for a credit card click on the credit card number box. 2. Choose the car from the popup. 3. Popup disappears but nothing is filled in on the website form. 4. Use Google Pay or PayPal to purchase.

This used to work.

View/Folders menu will not allow any selection but Recent

When TB starts up, the only folders I can see are Recent. I can go to View/Folders and click ALL, and as soon as I move the mouse away from that menu item, it switches back to Recent. This started on version 115.09, but persists after I've "upgraded" to 115.10.1.

It has now (5/3/24 17:25 CDT) been 2-1/2 days since I submitted this problem, and no one has responded that it has even been noticed, much less solved. One of my two email accounts is a POP3, and the other is IMAP. The IMAP account Inbox doesn't even show up on the TB home screen. (If that info is of any help).

PLEASE ADVISE. My emails are an integral part of my business, and I cannot get to almost any them.

Over the last few weeks, emails have vanished from my inbox, as well as trash, templates and other mail boxes. In may cases, no emails are being displayed, when "total message count" shows messages are present. In other cases, several days of recent messages have disappeared.

I have tried "repair folders," deleting "smart mailboxes' and even deleting the .mlf file of one inbox without success.

I have 6 email accounts including 2 GMail. The problem is in all of them. As the screenshot shows, there is a disparity between total messages and displayed messages in all boxes (partial view of accounts).

I have just set up a new Linux Mint desktop and configured TB for my btinternet email account.

Looking at the address book, all the contacts that have appeared in it, contain "TimeStamp+a series of numbers" before the @ sign of every address.

In the btinternet account contacts, the addresses are as you would expect them to be, without the extra timestamp+number.

Is there a way of getting rid of that, or do I have to edit every address?

not sure if this is where i should be but i tried the Thunderbird help and got no answer. After the most recent Thunderbird up date and a Thunderbird install over existing one when i go to my drafts folder and click on any draft or save message in there i get a yellow bar at the bottom of the page that i have never seen before . Now i do not want recreate a new profile and lose all my contacts book marks add on etc. how do i remove that yellow bar in Thunderbird mail

When I view my bank statement in Firefox, everything appears fine, but when I print the statement, all occurrences of boldfce "S" on the printout are blank. This problem does not occur with Google. Running macOS Catalina, all maintenance applied, Firefox is at 125.0.3.

Please help. I have always been able to access Google Images when using my Firefox browser. Now I only get a limited few. For example if I am searching for images of Cedar Waxwings (a bird) I only see a limited amount of images and the word "Store" keeps showing up. My wife and I each have our own Thunderbird accounts. They were created a long time ago, at different times. I’m pretty sure that they were not set up identically. She has recently experienced a problem: the number of new emails downloaded (as shown in the lower left corner of the screen) doesn’t match with the number of new and unread emails listed in the Inbox (the emails shown in boldface). Something else, though I think related: In the upper left corner of the screen, on the same line as the word Inbox, is a small circle with a number inside. I think that number gives the number of unread emails in the Inbox. Her number shows 20 but the actual number (boldface) is 15. Is this a serious problem? Is it a problem at all? If so, how to fix it? Thanks.

Since the update TB to v115.10.1 it will not connect to server, the server just times out. BUT If I then login to the server directly from browser and check mail (IMAP b… (читать ещё)

Since the update TB to v115.10.1 it will not connect to server, the server just times out.

BUT If I then login to the server directly from browser and check mail (IMAP by the way) using my web online interface I get emails THEN if I open TB it connects and downloads as it should.

This is weird. It's been checking more than a dozen email accounts for a number of years without errors.

The height of the viewing panel for emails is far too small. I can only see a couple of lines of text at the most and am unable to reduce the height of the incoming list of emails as previously in order to increase the height of the viewing panel. I have been helped to increase the font size of the overall layout so that I can now read it better but the green button to declare that my problem has been solved tells me that the page isn't working!

Urgent Help Please as lost ALL EMAILS - I cannot get to post in Thunderbird: 1) I've now spent 4 hours, (from what was trying to sort a 'simple' problem on the server), as I couldn't send or receive any emails, as they think I've 6.5Gb of data on it, in spite of my deleting all my emails off it. So they allowed some extra space to temp sort it again. It's been an issue for about 3mths now. But I deleted everything just the other day having confirmed that was not deleting them off my laptop and that the previously lost emails 2 yrs ago weren't still on their server.

But now checked back on my email client Thunderbird, and I've no emails. They're all GONE bar the odd few I've put into folders (I stopped using folders years back as that lost all my emails way back then!), so I'd been keeping them all in the Inbox. Although I've a few old Inbox files with previous old old emails in so I can access them if I need to. But at least their there! But now again I've just lost everything. This is such a disaster.

Over the last 2yrs it's been going OK until today. Now it's LOST ALL MY EMAILS. I'm as per usual up to my eyes and have to travel this friday for meetings next week. The last thing I needed today was this. I've lost so much data and info in those emails it's doesn't bare thinking about. From show tickets that I need, medical info and data, to flight details to all sorts of crucial data. My ONLY saving grace is that anything I've replied to, I have a copy in the sent folder.

So Please Forgive this being in Firefox, as I can't even add it to Thunderbird help area!! I've had to reset my pw too just to sign in. Sadly right now it all feels so very upsetting I'm thinking I'll have to just have to start using another email client! If every 2 yrs I lose all my emails then this is just not acceptable. I hope you can move this to the Thunderbird threads. If you do please send me a link to it so I can try and find it.

What's so upsetting is had I saved the Inbox file when I saw the 13Gb file size, a bit eariler then, I think I could have saved them. I fear though that the remote server people deleted something, that was somehow still linked to my system and that's meant they've deleted my emails off my laptop too! Terrifying! (Perhaps that is what happened before back in '22. ???) I did look at a 'Sync' settings but not sure what they did so cancelled back out of them.

Running on Win 10 Pro 64Bit i7core 8Gb Ram Thunderbird 115.10.1 (64-bit)

Any and all help will be most gratefully received.

Sub issue to get help : 2) Error to Sumbit to Thunderbird: Sadly I've gone around and around your system saying Ask Question when nothing answers my query on the Thunderbird email questions. But when you click on Ask Question it just takes you back around the system again / Browse all Programs / re click on thunderbird/ reclick on Emails and back to list of FAQ's but nothing helps so click on Get Help and back around you go in a deja vu system.
