There are many times when i want to go back to an article I read, but I don't know if it was three weeks or three months ago. I may remember the website, but I don't remember the specific URL.

There must be some way I can search my entire history, to find the interview on the Corbert Report that I'm looking for, but I can't find it.

I don't see any add-on to help, either.

Is there something already in Firefox I can use, or is there an add-on I can download to do a boolean search of the Title, the URL, with date-range options?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You could try to use the Search box (top right) in the History library (Alt + S) > Show All History. It returns all the visited sites which have the typed words in either the Title and/or URL. As of now there is no date option. If the results are large you can further narrow it by typing in more specific words.

Also, depending on your settings in Firefox Tools (Alt + T) > Options > Privacy, Location Bar, the history entries would appear in the location (address) bar drop-down entries when you type the Title and/or URL. Please see this.

Not sure if there are add-ons that enhance the History library/functions. You can also try to search for add-ons via Tools (Alt + T) > Add-ons, Search box on the top right, or @ AMO by typing in keywords like "history", "history search" etc.
