After Firefox had show no reaction over Minutes, I have close it with the Windows Closer (close programm, wait for a reaction, ect). I have wait a Minute until the HDD was done and them start it again. Like I haveimagine before has Firefox kill the most of my important Tabs I was working on and show in the Session Restore just some old Tabs, I have close long Time ago. Was not the first Time I have lost my Tabs after a Crash, sometimes there was just the Startpage left and I had to open 300 Tabs from the History to get not all but some of my Tabs back. I would like to see this fixed soon until then I have to made a shortcutfolder with the tabs so I not lost them again.

Recent crashes of certain multimedia contents (this includes Youtube videos, certain flash games and other applications) in conjunction with Firefox 14 are most probably caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and/or a malfunctioning Real Player browser plugin.

In order to remedy the problem, please perform the steps mentioned in these Knowledge Base articles:

Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems

Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again

Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox

I think the Problem is partial in Firefox. In earlyer Versions I just have end Firefox my clicking the X in the upper right Corner and after I have strt it again the Tabs was back. Some Updates later, when I have close Firefox that Way, all Tabs was gone. So the only Way to close firefox and keep the open Tabs, was manual crash Firefox, by closing it over the Taskmanager. The last Crash was after the Window has blocked (No Reaction in the Windowtitle), I have close it over the X in the Window. Then I had wait a bit and start it again. There was a Sessionrestorewindow, but with old Tabs I had close long time ago and none of the actual Tabs.

The Sollution for this Problem could be, Firefox save automatic all 5-15 Minutes a Backupfile where are all open Tabs with Order and Adresses, or give the User the Option to save the Tabs like we can do it with the Linkcollection. Usual, when Firefox eat up all my Tabs, the Button to restore the recent Session under Cronic is inactive.

Crashes are not so bad, because you not lose Workprogress but its bad to lose Tabs with Pages you maybe will look later. Even Micosoft Office has a automatic Backup for open Projects, so why Firefox should'nt have a working Sessionrestore. Actual you can't be sure you get your Tabs back when you close Firefox, so the only you can do are making Links in a Folder with the actual Tabs or not close firefox while Tabs are open.

Are you using Clear Recent History to clear any data when you close Firefox?

Yes, that looks correct.

This startup setting gives a better guarantee to restore tabs.

That Option is active, look more like you work in a Tool and it crash and all is gone. Looks like Firefox not know what Tabs are open undil you close it manualy. It's a bit strange Firefox has the Function to delete the Session when you close it over the File Menu, this force you to keep open Firefox all Time if you not want to loose your Tabs.
