My Yahoo chat doesn't work anymore since the latest upgrade. Why??
Ever since the upgrade, my yahoo chat won't work on my pc. I can't get the chat windows to pop up. I can see someone is trying to chat with me, but no window. I'm not the only one this is happening to. I have a friend who has gone through the same thing. We've both tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Please fix this particular issue as we both prefer firefox over internet explorer, but our chat works fine in IE. Thanks!

Hi,
When in Yahoo, please try changing the Messenger options in Yahoo between Window and Tab. Also do a Ctrl + F5 refresh of the page if necessary.

I have switched to tabs and also tried refreshing via the instructions above. Nothing seems to work. Any other suggestions?
What happens is that my tab flashes that I have a message and also I can see the message tab flashing in yahoo, but when I switch over to the tab it loads and loads and loads and never finishes loading. I x out of the tabs but every time I re-open my browser they come back.

Please check if this happens in Safe Mode.
I tried the Messenger Options but it still not working. Exactly what options should be checked? FYI, my iExplorer Yahoo messenger/chat still works.

This bug will be fixed in the next major Firefox release (Fx10) which is due on January 31. See Latest Firefox issues under "Yahoo Messenger in Yahoo Mail doesn't work" and the related article discussion.
