5.0.1 not supporting Google toolbar
What is the point of updating Firefox if essential add ons like the Google toolbar are not supported? The 'googlebar' add on, which has nothing to do with Google, is a poor substitute as a number of options such as google suggest don't work.
Updating is supposed to make things better, not worse.

The Google Toolbar "will not be supported on Firefox 5 and future versions."

The Google Toolbar 7.1.20110512W version does work pretty good in Firefox 5.0 by using the Compatibility Reporter extension. But not every feature works 100%.

See if this extension gives you the Google Toolbar features you want: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/googlebar-lite/
GBookmarks (Google Bookmarks for Firefox)

That particular version DOES work.
Thank you.
