Firefox 4 does not work with ID vault, therefore I cannot use Firefox 4 until this issue is fixed. When will this issue be resolved?
IDVault is a portable USB device that I use to sign into sites securely. I did download Firefox 4, but had to uninstall it the same day due to this issue. Yes, I have contacted IDVault, but they have not updated their software to work with Firefox 4, as far as I know. Therefore, I need your help in getting this device that I use all of the time working with Firefox 4. Until this happens, I must stay with an older version of Firefox.

Does IDVault install an extension in Firefox 3.6? You can check here:
Tools > Add-ons > Extensions
In some cases, extensions will work normally in new versions of Firefox. End users can modify the extension's declared range of compatible versions (this involves a little digging an editing). Of course, there's no guarantee of actual compatibility when doing this. If it's not actually compatible, considering the sensitive nature of the software, you probably don't want to get revisions from anyone but IDVault.
I contacted IDVault again today to find out what progress, if any, has been made. This is not really an extension that can be added or deleted from Firefox. The program on the device actually opens the websites after you sign in using this program. When I tried Firefox 4, none of the site would open, including my financial sites, like where I pay my bills. Therefore, I need IDVault to work before I can upgrade to Firefox 4.
My ID Vault still does not work with the newest versions of Firefox. I have contacted the company several times. Each time they say they are working on the issue. My last response from them has moved the resolution date out by months. I really would like to use the newer versions, but until someone gets this issue fixed I am stuck using the older, less secure version of Firefox. Can someone at Mozilla help this company out? Thank you.
If the people that make that ID Vault application need help fixing their program, they should contact Mozilla and request help.
