BING keeps changing my address bar search. Is there any way to LOCK Google as the default? "about:config" only works temporarily until BING comes back. I want a PERMANENT block of BING!
Pretty much as I stated. I use about:config to change BING as the default back go Google. This works fine. But 3 or 4 days later, BING comes right back. It's done this now at least half a dozen times, and there's no end in sight. Is there any PERMANENT solution to either totally block BING, or lock in Google? If not, is there a one click solution to making Google the default again?
I would GREATLY appreciate any help with this!! I hate BING, and I'm growing weary of having to go through the about:config process.

Just found this and it worked!!!!!!!!! It's very easy, open two tabs so you can switch back and forth while doing it.
Hope it helps you!

The value of keyword.URL in your system details links to the bing.com site.
You can reset that pref to the default value on the about:config page via the right-click context menu (Reset)

I appreciate your response, but I've already gone through that routine several times. I actually had to do it TWICE today alone. It gets really old. I want Bing blocked completely. I'm tired of it changing my default search, especially without my permission.
