When I open the Firefox App the screen flickers and becomes black. I think this started after the recent UI6.0 update

I do not recognise that as an update to Firefox for Android.
What is the make and model of your Android device?
Have you installed Firefox for Android from the Google Play store?
It's the latest Android software update. My phone is the Galaxy S22 Ultra, and I downloaded the app from the Google Play Store
