Sorry to hear about your issue, but going forward I recommend running more than 1 version of Firefox. This way your data is not in just 1 browser. Firefox and either Dev, Beta, or Nightly. You can also run Waterfox. see screenshots.
Did you have your data on another device?
No, I thought that firefox would realize there is a problem. And to answer your other response. If i had 2 copies running on the same pc, would i not lose the data like i have on this one?
