What email provider? Are you sure this isn't email provider issue then a Browser issue.
I am using gmail. Tried from another browser (Edge) and working fine.
Did you try Firefox in Safe Mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode#search104 Is there a reason for the old version of Firefox?
Is this about a plain text editor like on this forum or about a rich text editor that supports HTML formatting ?
