Blue border when clicking on links

I just noticed that websites are now getting a blue border when links are clicked [FF Version 103.0.2 (64-bit)] and the funny thing about it is that sometimes the border disappears ... but it comes back eventually. Anyone else having the same bug?

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
