Thunderbird only seems to download Pop3 emails from server once a day.

Thunderbird only seems to download Pop3 emails from server once a day even though the check every 10 minute is highlighted in control panel. The "get messages" tab does not seem to retrieve emails which I know are on my server. It seems to work fine down loading emails when I first check in the day but then does not download emails again till the next day. Can you help? David.

Try restarting in Troubleshot mode (help menu) and continue when prompted. Does it download more frequently.
