Thunderbird incoming email
opening thunderbird produces message "connected to pop.ix.netcom.com" with blue line in bottom right corner. Then "connection to server pop.ix.netcom.com timed out." Can send but not receive messages in thunderbird. web email (earthlink) works fine. Updated windows 10 and thnderbird yesterday before this happened. Turning off norton antivirus and firewall does not solve problem. Uninstalling/reinstalling thunderbird did not help. Server settings are correct according to earthlink help.
