Can you switch the Mozilla VPN to ON automatically on application startup?
NOTE : This is not referring to loading the application at startup of the operating system
I can't find a way to make Mozilla VPN software automatically switch to ON when the application starts, I would like this to be an option if possible, unless I am missing something? I am running the Windows 10 and iPhone versions of the application, and I cannot make either of them start automatically.
Does anyone know how to do so? Or is this going to be part of a future update to the service?

Unfortunately the auto-start isn't an auto-connect feature. It will simply start the app up when you start the computer. You still have to manually toggle the VPN on. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. We have received a lot of feedback regarding a desire for auto-connect, and we are looking to add it very soon.

Listen, there are less expensive VPN providers which do auto-connect within Windows 10. I suggest that the Mozilla team get that functional, or I'm forced to go elsewhere.

I am using Mozilla VPN on 2 devices both desktops with Windows 10. The first unit I installed VPN on does not auto start but the second one does. Was there a change in code between the first and second installs?
This needs to be a feature. Having windows connect to the internet at startup and then having to switch by activating the vpn kind of defeats the purpose.
Hi. First, thanks for developing a Mozilla based VPN. This makes me happy that I can support Mozilla through a valuable service. At the same time, I'm really concerned that your product managers didn't make auto-on a basic function in the VPN app. This, to me, is a no-brainer! :-) It makes me concerned about the overall integrity and security of the app and the network. This kind of polish is critical to Mozilla's success as you are entirely dependent upon reputation (trust and performance are your competitive core competencies). I hope you take this seriously. The above chosen solution of "we are working on it" doesn't come close. Your only path is all products par excellence all the time. No less. Thanks and I hope this endeavor for Mozilla meets with ultimate success. :-)
Hi, Eve, THANK YOU, EVE!! Auto-connect works. Bob
When you say "soon", are we talking about dog years, or maybe "for very very large values of soon"? Customers have been asking for this for months (or longer) and I think the consensus is, "who the hell didn't know that it was essential to begin with?". How "soon", in actual time, are we waiting for? Thanks.
