How do I uninstall this latest Android browser and get the previous version back?

Where is my homepage?

How to get rid of the collections page?

How to disable browsing history?

How to get the ad blocker I used working.

Hi

It is not possible to download an earlier version from the Google Play store.

Your homepage is the screen that initially opens when you open Firefox for Android.

You cannot remove the Collections feature, but I recommend that you give it a try - I find it really useful.

In the Privacy option under Settings, you can set browsing data to be cleared on exit.

You can use uBlock as a content blocker. This is available from the add-ons menu.

For ad blocker enable unlock origin in ad one section . Unlock origin works same as ABP.

I used Ghostery not Adblock. Its now a disabled extension. None of those add-ons in the list will be used.

This new version is useless, just look on Google Play and Twitter for the complaints. Like everone else, I never asked to be be involved in beta software especially with rubbish like Firefox for Android.

I went to login to a site and there are no saved passwords. I disable history but you cannot do that. Where are all the settings? That collection screen as the homepage is terrible, you try copy to clipboard and cannot return.

Android has Chrome and I have never used it but I am now going to use it and delete Firefox from the phone. You have lost so many users with the release of this crap. Absolutely nobody likes it. Its like Skype before Microsoft got hold of it and this version of Firefox is like that version 8 where Microsoft killed a brilliant program before changing the API turning off 80m devices, then changed login and people just went to WhatsApp etc. Firefox has just started that process.

Even a news article said yesterday, people will hate the new version for Android, and they are correct.

Farewell Firefox - RIP 2020

The is no way to reverse to previous versions using the playstore.

However there is a long history of versions on apkmirror, if you want to downgrade. You will have to uninstall your current version and download the previous (v68) from apkmirror, then just install it or learn how to install apps from outside the playstore.
