I would like to enter my passwords by myself. Unfortunately it is not possible to remove the tick in the prefferences. It is grey, sorry the screenshot is in german. Zugangangsdaten means log in

why is it light grey? I can not deinstall lockwise, I can not suppress storing data! I don't want that any of my datas are stored... I use the private browser tab at default.

Thanx for support Oliver

(On why the setting to enable or disable the Password Manager is "greyed out")
Here is an answer from a previous question:

Make sure you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Always use Private Browsing mode; Never Remember History). Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history" remove checkmark: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"

Check your Privacy & Security options under History. Make sure you have not set Firefox to run in permanent Private Browsing mode.
Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history
(quote)
When Firefox is set to Always use private browsing mode or to Never remember history, you won't see a purple mask at the top of each window, even though you are in Private Browsing mode. To restore normal browsing, go to your Privacy & Security options and uncheck Always use private browsing mode from your Use custom settings for history settings (or select Remember history from the drop-down menu) and restart Firefox.

P.S. Your screenshot shows that the setting to enable the Password Manager is "greyed out", which can happen when you set Firefox to never remember history or to always use private browsing mode.

The Lockwise Password Manager is part of Firefox so it cannot be removed. To disable it, you would remove the check mark next to Ask to save logins and passwords for websites in the Privacy & Security panel Logins and Passwords section . See the Password Manager - Remember, delete and edit logins and passwords in Firefox article for details, under "Disabling the Password Manager".

Note that Lockwise is a builtin component in Firefox 70 and later and can't be uninstalled.
You can only disable the Lockwise Password Manager in regular (non PB) mode.

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security: Logins and Passwords: "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites"

You can still use the Password Manager to fill a login via the right-click context menu, but if you use a master password that you need to unlock the passwords by visiting the about:logins page.
