when compacting: permanently remove pop-up that says another process is using a folder?

I love compacting my folders. I do it every day. But, I almost always get several pop-ups (one for each folder that cannot be compacted) which say something like: "The folder 'X' cannot be compacted because another operation is in progress. Please try again later.". I *don't* want to turn off compacting, but this message seems useless. I can't do anything about it except press the OK button. It won't continue until I press the OK button. Is there any way that this can be displayed somewhat unobtrusively in e.g. the status bar, and not require me to have to press any buttons? Again, it is information only, and doesn't seem like I can really do anything about it, so why require me to press a button?

Thanks for an otherwise excellent product.
