Why we cant sync "Top Sites"?
I have 3 rows of sites and whenever I reinstall Firefox I have to add them manually every time.
Suggestion: Let the users get "Top Sites" along with the other things when the user sync data, plus I don't like that the default top site's name starting with lowercase, I don't think it is a good idea, not sure if it's only me who didn't like it.

Sync isn't meant to be used as a backup.
The items in the Top Sites list are created from the history unless you would pin websites Changes made manually on the about:newtab page are stored in prefs that you can find on the about:config page.
- browser.newtabpage.pinned stores websites that you have pinned to a tile.
- browser.newtabpage.blocked stores websites that you have removed by clicking the X button in a tile.
Did you pin all sites on those three rows because browser.newtabpage.pinned is part of the preferences that are synced?
I see, that's right. Not sure why I keep use it as a backup tool.
And Yes I pin all sites there (24 sites).
I just found that (I need to wait after sync process ends + close Firefox window and wait few minutes) to get my pined top sites back, but still need to edit the names to uppercase.
