I use Firefox on everything I own with absolutely no issues what-so-ever. So I decided to put it on my kids laptop, granted it's not used but maybe twice or three times a year. So my son got on to do a research paper and couldn't get google to load. I tried everything I could think of i ran virus checks, disk cleaner, refreshed Firefox, I even went as far as to uninstall Firefox and reinstall from a jump drive. I tried to take a screenshot of one of the pages with the error on it for you to see but for some reason it won't allow me too. I did share my troubleshooting info, so I hope it helps. Thank you in advance!! Any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Hi strech_64,

Just in case the above doesn't do the trick :

Please make sure that your system clock is set to the right date, time and timezone :

time.is

1. Go to Options -> Privacy and uncheck Query OCSP responder servers to confirm the current validity of certificates.

2. if it doesn't work, you'll probably have to refresh the cert8/cert9 database files in the profile folder.

TyDraniu: Thank you, unfortunately that wasn't my issue apparently.

Happy112: Thank you, when I read your suggestion i literally smacked myself on the forehead. One of those solutions that's so simple you don't even consider it.

Again thank you both very much for the assistance everything is back to normal.

I know the feeling ....... you just don't expect it to be so simple (happens to everybody, so, no need to smack yourself on the forehead  !)
