Although, the older loggins and use a master password button work great,the save loggin button is inactive and I cannot check it to save my new loggs k great
Hello everybody. I have a problem with the remember logins button of the security section.I am using a master password [works great] and I am not facing problems with the older logins [ the system works great also] But last few days the Firefox has stopped to ask me if I would like to save my logins. When I checked the options-security section I found out that the remember logins square is inactive and as much as I 've tried I cannot check it to make my Firefox password manager work for new login entries. Have anybody any idea how I could fix the problem. Thank you for your time and the positive energy send by your voluntary participation

Make sure you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Always use Private Browsing mode; Never Remember History).
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy -> Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
- Deselect: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"

It's possible that this could be an issue related to an extension you are running.
Suggestion: Try launching Firefox in Safe Mode and see if the issue persists.

If this issue is not present in Safe Mode, it's most likely because of an extension.

Thanks for try solving the problem. Unfortunately, even in Safe Mode I cannot activate the remember logins

Yes! Running Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode created the problem. After using custom settings for history and deselecting Always use Private Browsing mode the remember logins button works again. Thanks cor-el for your help.Really appreciate it.
