Dear Community Support,

I have problem with Firefox during the save of a file.

it appears the file manager but if I type doesn't search for directory or file. So every time I have to position on directory and Firefox is unusefull I hoped to find a solution with time but now we are at Firefox 47 and I have no solutions...

I tried solutions for different file manager, to change profile, to download a developer edition of firefox, start without add-on but nothing.

Any idea?

Thank you Mario

Select Save File. Look at the top of the new window. This is how to select what folder the file is saved to. Then on the bottom, type in what you want to name the file.

If you do not like the current way.

A workaround to try for Firefox on Linux is type about:config in the Location (address) bar filter for ui.allow_platform_file_picker Toggle this from true to to false
