Hello, I have pinned two of my tabs and both are Gmail. They are both my accounts that Gmail lets you add to the same browser. It worked fine for over a year now. I have always been logged in in those, so when i close and open Firefox again I am logged automatically. I guess that is possible because i checked "Stay Logged in" in Gmail login screen. Now, from no apparent reason, every time when I start Firefox, both Gmail tabs are not logged in. I have to enter password again. "Stay logged in" checkbox is selected but it will not work.

I hope I have been clear enough. Can you please help me? Thank you

Being logged in is stored in a special cookie.

History and cookies can be removed or not recorded several ways;

  • 1) Running Firefox in Private Mode (nothing is recorded)
  • 2) Privacy settings; (Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar.)
  • 3) Many disk cleaners and anti-virus type programs can remove data from browsers. Open their settings and have them leave the browsers alone.
  • 4) Mal-ware.
