I clear history and cookies when I Firefox but on next start it opens with my home page and the last used tab.

I have it set to show my home page (BBC weather) that's all.

Ah, somehow an additional home page has been inserted. No idea how as, in trying to solve this problem, I reset, closed the browser opened again opened a new tab closed the Mozilla one, got the BBC page and clicked “Use current page”. This all started a few days ago with MSN Messenger something I have never used.

Maybe one just needs to check the start tab each time one uses Firefox to prevent unwanted intrusion.
