I got the new FF this morning, and now, whenever I try to close a tab, the + icon for opening a new tab is glitched and overlaid on top of itself. I uninstalled and installed a fresh version, but its still happening. It goes away if I resize my browser, but not if I just minimize/maximize it.

I think, it is the hardware issue. May be your disk access rate is high or your system's processor is slow.

I don't think so. This only started on the last update. I'm running W8.1 on an Intel 4670k@3.4Ghz, with 16GB ram, and Samsung 840 SSD. I'm also on the latest drivers for my GPU.

I found the problem; Windowblinds 8 doesn't play well with this latest release of FF. Adding a "Do not skin" exception fixed the problem.
