Have you checked with GoDaddy for instructions?
Basically you create a network calendar with type CalDAV. But you'll then need the information from GoDaddy about the correct URL.
I have. I access the the calendar settings in Go Daddy Workspace and go into the share calendar tab. From there I publish my calendar and have the URL sent to me via the email calendar function. I then create a new network calendar in lightning and use the URL as the location. Lighting creates the calendar and I see it in my left menu but I am unable to put a check into it. Is anyone else having this problem?
Can you explain 'I am unable to put a check into it' in more detail?
Sure - in lighting all of my calendars are listed in a left menu box. I have two from google listed and my godaddy calendar. The two from google are highlighted and I can put a check next to them (or not) for the calendar to show in lighting. My godaddy calendar is greyed out and I cannot put a check in the box next to it.
Make sense?
are you using the server caldav.secureserver.net. apparently that is the url and your username (email address) and password gets your calendar.
The calendar is now not greyed-out, but it is showing as temporarily unavailable. Next steps?
Here is my error code:
[JavaScript Warning: "There has been an error reading data for calendar: xxxxxxxxxxxxx. However, this error is believed to be minor, so the program will attempt to continue. Error code: DAV_DAV_NOT_CALDAV. Description: The resource at https://caldav.secureserver.net/ is a DAV collection but not a CalDAV calendar"]
Does your CalDAV server support SPDY? It is enabled by default in Thunderbird.
Otherwise you can try to disable SPDY in Thunderbird:
set the pref 'network.http.spdy.enabled' to 'false'.
Tools (Alt-T) - Options - Advanced - General - Config Editor
Paste the pref into the search field without the quotes.
Toggle it to 'false'.
this did not take either. no changes. any more suggestions?
What do godaddy say the problem is?
