Could you elaborate on what you mean by "Bookmarks! Roboform, ease of use."
Bookmarks do not open on sidebar rather over the web page. Not usable even though I have customized it to be on toolbar. Aeon 6 is my theme.Although Roboform is an option it does not appear on toolbar either. There no longer is the smooth integration. I have Windows 7. Any suggestions?
The Bookmarks Sidebar is still there, but it doesn't have its own button any more. I have read that Firefox 30 will have a new button to open the available sidebars, but for now, you can open the Bookmarks Sidebar using either:
- Ctrl+b (unless the page intercepts it to mean Bold)
- Click the new Bookmarks button > View Bookmarks Sidebar
- classic menu bar: View > Sidebars > Bookmarks
In redesigning the interface for Firefox 29, the Add-ons bar was removed and everything that was on it moved to the main toolbar. You may see a » symbol on the toolbar indicating more icons are available than can fit.
Some extensions do not work in this new way: they either go on the Add-on bar or nowhere at all. I don't know whether RoboForm has that approach, but if it does, you will need an add-on to restore the Add-on bar. Here are two that have been recommended on the forum:
- Specific: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/the-addon-bar/
- General: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/ (makes the UI look like Firefox 28, or you can mix and match features)
