how can I preserve my bookmarks when I update my firefox? I have a lot of bookmarks and do not want to go through one by one re adding them afetr an update.

Hi djleong,

The newer versions of Firefox (at least for me) have not had these issues. Either way, it is always a good idea to back up your personal information whenever you are attempting something like this. You should check out Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles for details.
