How do I change the default number of copies to print? Printer is set for 2 copies in windows but Firefox ignores the default and prints 1 copy.

Hi,

If you visit the menu bar (located in the top right of the browser, the button tile is three horizontal lines), you can select print. When you select print a print preview window ought to appear, with print in the top left of the window. When you click print in this window, another popup appears - you can change the number of copies here.

Hope this helps.

If I understand correctly, Bruce wants printing to default to printing two copies rather than having to manually enter the number each time.

This might normally be possible by setting the appropriate printing preference in Firefox, but the number of copies in explicitly not one of the preferences that is read (link to the code), so I don't think this is possible currently.

Bruce, if I understand what you want correctly, you will probably need to file an issue on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ which is the website the Firefox developers use to track Firefox bugs and enhancement requests. I can pick up the conversation there.
