Change autofill in url
I want to know if it's possible to change what comes up when you type in what you're searching for in the url box. I used to have it just like I wanted it, I could hit a single key starting with the first letter of the web address. Now though I get results that have the key almost at the end of their address.
I like to modify it so when I type in what I want it comes up with the options that I want. Is this possible?

Do you mean in the autocomplete drop-down list? By default, Firefox will try to match your text at the beginning of a word boundary anywhere in the title or URL, but it may also match anywhere in the URL. To assert control:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste URLB and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the browser.urlbar.matchBehavior preference and enter the desired value...
3 => match only from the left of the entire title or host name or domain name -- seems to also match parts of the URL path after / so that seems different than the available documentation
2 => match only from word boundaries -- matches at case changes, e.g., SeaMonkey, and in ALL CAPS for some reason; in URLs treats punctuation as a word boundary (e.g., dot, hyphen)
1 => match from word boundaries first, but then anywhere (default)
0 => match anywhere
