Spelling Gramma
Hi Team,
I am a recent convert to Thunderbird, its growing on me and I am starting to like it. I have always supported the underdog in the IT industry, I am comfortable with Unix, Mac OS and Windows. as Apple and Microsoft have now grown into greedy super giants, its time to move on to Ubuntu and elementary OS.
My Question: When typing an email in Thunderbird, I often forget to push the Shift key and as a result the first word on each sentence does not have the required capital letter. Is there a way you could program the app to automatically capitalize the first word after a full stop, exclamation mark or question mark? or is this an existing setting that I need to activate, if so, could it turned on by default? (if so, where do i find it).
BTW, reading through the text in the message, Firefox could also benefit from this feature.
Regards, Richard.

There used to be an add-on, AutoUp, that did this, but I'm not aware of any option for the current release, 68.
Thanks for that, I had a look at that web page, it would have been nice if filipef1, had uploaded his modification as version 1.04
Any chance Thunderbird could incorporate this feature as a standard item, seems like a reasonable and logical thing to do.
Regards, Richard.
New features are usually submitted as a Request for Enhancement on Bugzilla.
I just tried to install the AutoUp add on, but it says that it is not compatible with version 68, bummer!
