When connecting a HDMI cable to stream video content from the Smithsonian Channel and PBS Passport sites to a TV monitor, the signal produces a black screen with sound. Any repeated unplugging and reconnecting of the HDMI cable can also cause Windows to crash (bluescreen). Play DRM content is allowed. Extensions were disabled. For reference, this does not happen with Chrome. I’m running Win 7 Home Premium with i7-3520 in a Dell Latitude E6430. I'm not a programmer. Where do you suggest I start? Thanks! Paul S.
